Gary Smith Ltd was formed in 1995 when we acquired a Ford retail dealership in Toddington, Bedfordshire. Gary, the MD, had been in business since 1992 as a leasing and company car consultant when the opportunity presented itself. We suucessfully ran the garage until the end of 2007 when we decided to sell and return to our roots...this was when Motorfreelance was formed.
Gary brings to the business over 30 years experience with agents for Rover, Jaguar, Land Rover, Honda and BMW in roles from service, sales and management.
We now just employ Gary and his wife Jayne, both based at our office in Luton, whilst our vehicles are displayed at Maulden. This enables us to keep our overheads low, whilst allowing us just to focus on our customers' needs.
By keeping things simple, it enables us to give you a unique and personal service which is difficult to achieve at larger dealerships. Finally, if you can't find the car you're looking for, just give Gary your details and he will locate the model you are looking to order
